NEW MUSIC: Statik Selektah “Champagne Wishes” feat. Ab-Soul, Raekwon, and Freddie Gibbs.

The song is a soulful, laid-back posse cut (not a “So Appalled” remake) that explores success, ambition, and the realities that come with them. Ab-Soul opens with a distinctive flow and handles the hook; Raekwon delivers a classic luxury-themed verse; and Freddie Gibbs goes long with what Statik has called one of the best verses of the year. The production gives each MC room to shine over a wavy, sample-driven beat. It follows the earlier single “The Louvre” (feat. Joey Bada$$, Westside Gunn, Stove God Cooks, and Rome Streetz). The full album is described as a curated blend of elite lyricism and production pairing legends with emerging voices (other expected names include 2 Chainz, Bruiser Wolf, M.O.P., Killer Mike, Styles P, and more). It was previewed during Mass Appeal’s NY Comic Con 2026 presence. Expensive Taste album 11/6/26 on Mass Appeal / Showoff.

I launched my Blog site in 2010, inspired by platforms like Complex Networks, Nigel D's RealTalkNY, NahRight, MissInfo.tv, Elliott Wilson, and Brian "B.Dot" Miller. (Rap Radar) It started as a passion project -sharing hip-hop videos, music, interviews, and more, just for the love of the culture. Fast forward to today, I'm still at it, driven by the thrill of discovering fresh, unique hip-hop and cultural moments to share with others. My goal? To help people uncover some real dope content. - Yaosoner
