The album comes amid noise surrounding Gucci’s name in Atlanta and the rap scene. In early 2026, reports detailed an alleged January incident in a Dallas studio involving his 1017 artist Pooh Shiesty (and others), in which Gucci was reportedly robbed/kidnapped and forced at gunpoint to release Shiesty from his contract. Subsequent claims that Gucci spoke with law enforcement fueled “snitching” accusations in street culture circles. Gucci responded in April with the track “CRASH DUMMY,” which appears on this album. Against All Odds functions as a broader, unapologetic reply emphasizing wealth, status, resilience, and dismissing haterswith track titles and energy that many note recall peak mid-2000s Gucci. Features are limited but notable (Summer Walker, longtime collaborator OJ da Juiceman, and his son Ice Davis). Production includes returns from Zaytoven, J White, Fatboi, Go Grizzly, Jambo, and others.Gucci Mane “Back against the wall” [Official Audio] Download/Stream – https://guccimane.lnk.to/againstallodds

I launched my Blog site in 2010, inspired by platforms like Complex Networks, Nigel D's RealTalkNY, NahRight, MissInfo.tv, Elliott Wilson, and Brian "B.Dot" Miller. (Rap Radar) It started as a passion project -sharing hip-hop videos, music, interviews, and more, just for the love of the culture. Fast forward to today, I'm still at it, driven by the thrill of discovering fresh, unique hip-hop and cultural moments to share with others. My goal? To help people uncover some real dope content. - Yaosoner View all posts by YaosoneR
