NEW MUSIC: Armani Caesar “The Liz Symphony”

Armani Caesar’s new single “The Liz Symphony”. It is her first major release in a while and continues the “Liz” persona she built across her Griselda projects.
The Buffalo rapper (born Joclynn Clyburn), Griselda’s first female signee, had stepped back after becoming a mother and dealing with personal matters she wasn’t ready to discuss publicly. In posts teasing the track she noted the distance that absence created while thanking fans who stayed. The single reintroduces her with the same cool, commanding delivery: slick punchlines and larger-than-life flexes centered on luxury, fashion, jewelry, money, and competition. Coverage describes hard-hitting production that leaves room for her personality rather than drowning it out.

The accompanying visual is fashion-forward. It shows her going through hair, makeup, and styling before stepping onto a photoshoot set—the transformation playing out on camera as she leans into the glamorous “Liz” image. That persona draws from Elizabeth Taylor (and related figures such as wrestling manager Miss Elizabeth and designer Liz Claiborne), the same through-line as her 2020 Griselda debut The Liz (features from Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine, and Benny the Butcher; production including DJ Premier, 808 Mafia, and Camoflauge Monk) and the 2022 sequel The Liz 2 (executive produced by Westside Gunn, with appearances from Kodak Black, Stove God Cooks, Conway, and others).
