NEW ALBUM: Nipsey Hussle x Bino Rideaux “PROLIFIC”

PROLIFIC is the collaborative album by Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux, released one day before what would have been Nipsey’s 41st birthday. It was fully recorded and sequenced in 2017 during an intensive ~90-day creative run at NoName Studios in Los Angeles (the same period that produced their 2017 EP No Pressure). This is Nipsey’s first posthumous album project, but it is not a compilation of unfinished material his brother Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom and the team have emphasized that it is the complete body of work Nipsey and Bino created together as he envisioned it. The 15-track project captures their West Coast chemistry: Nipsey’s sharp, plainspoken bars paired with Bino’s melodic, auto-tune-inflected style. Production comes from frequent collaborators including Mike & Keys, Mixed By Ali, Cyrus Taghipour, Axel Folie, Larrance Dopson, Lamar “Mars” Edwards, and Garnett “G” Flynn (many of whom also worked on Victory Lap).
