NEW MUSIC: Tierra Whack “WHACK’S MUSEUM”

WHACK’S MUSEUM is the new Tierra Whack, latest offerings. It’s her self-described “rap mixtape” and second mixtape overall (following the landmark 2018 project Whack World, often retroactively viewed as her debut album). It comes after her 2024 studio album World Wide Whack. The project emphasizes lyricism, bars, wordplay, and double/triple entendres. It’s described as vulnerable, bold, weird, and unapologetically herself — with no features and a stripped-back focus on relentless rapping over gritty production. The title is a clever pun on “wax museum,” reflected in several track titles with “wax” references (Wax Paper, Brazilian Wax, Candle Wax, Earwax). It plays on themes of preservation, figures/statues, and artistic display.
