BROWN is the 12th studio album from Chris Brown. The title BROWN is a backronym for Break Rules Only When Necessary (similar to how his 2011 album F.A.M.E. was an acronym). At 92 minutes and 5 seconds long with 27 tracks, it’s a major R&B project that positions Brown as a veteran in the genre’s lineage of greats-complete with nostalgic soulful vibes, some gospel and blues influences, and a mix of silky croons and rap-tinged energy.
