NEW ALBUM: PFG “DOPEBOY UNIVERSITY”

Sorry I’m a little late to the party on this one.
I stumbled across PFG’s latest album DOPEBOY UNIVERSITY a couple days ago while scrolling Instagram. PFG (aka Prettyface Gangsta) is an up-and-coming rapper out of Fayetteville, North Carolina, currently signed to the independent label The Sheltuh Records.

What first hooked me was his beat selection and that signature East Coast/Southern voice and flow — something about it just stood out. I instantly wanted to hear more. His music is raw, authentic storytelling pulled straight from life in “The Ville,” touching on survival, struggle, and resilience. DOPEBOY UNIVERSITY captures all of that perfectly.
It’s his debut album, released January 7, 2026 — a tight 12-track project that clocks in at 31 minutes and 33 seconds. The sound blends wavy, melodic production with gritty street tales and confident, no-frills flows. PFG reps the Fayetteville/Raleigh area hard (he calls it “Fayettenam” in his posts) and delivers straight dopeboy anthems the whole way through. All tracks are explicit.
Early standouts getting love are “MEMBERS ONLY,” “ONE TAKE GOD,” and “LIFE AFTER RISK.”
Man… this shit is cold for real. 🔥
