Nearly five years removed since the last time 2 Chainz stepped in the Power 106 studios to deliver an L.A. Leakers freestyle, 2022 has just put the vet back in the LIFTOFF seat! Completely skating over The Pharcyde’s classic track “Passin’ Me By,” 2 Chainz deliberately attacks the infectious instrumental. Hyped and connected with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk, Chainz’ flow is pointed and precise as his spits, “Baby, what’s yo Cash App? Just a little sponsorship / Sold so much dope, basking soda gave me a scholarship / Sold so many bags ziploc gave me a scholarship / N****s know Tony rappin’ like I’m on the Carter 6.” The ‘Dope Don’t Sell Itself’ rapper ripped up Freestyle 129 in true Chainz fashion. -LA LEAKERS
