‘Growing Up Milwaukee’ documentary now streaming on HBO Max

HBO Max has added a new documentary called “Growing Up Milwaukee,” following the lives of three Black youths as they grow up in the city and fight to avoid “becoming just another statistic,” according to a statement from the maker of the documentary, Wardlaw Productions.

Growing Up Milwaukee” premiered at the American Black Film Festival in August of 2020, and was screened at the Social Justice Now Film Festival and the Milwaukee Film Festival.

It can be watched now on HBO Max.
