The official music video for A$AP Rocky – “WHISKEY/BLACK DEMARCO” The video is wild-directed by A$AP Rocky himself, starring legendary filmmaker Tim Burton as the narrator. It features animated, quirky characters inspired by Burton’s designs (he did the album cover art too), with a Gorillaz-like animated aesthetic mixed with dark, whimsical Tim Burton-style visuals (think eerie, creative, stop-motion-ish elements that fans are calling “pure cinema” and “real art”. It’s from his new album “Don’t Be Dumb”. combining two tracks:
“WHISKEY (RELEASE ME)” (featuring elements tied to Westside Gunn and Damon Albarn/Gorillaz vibes in some discussions) and “AIR FORCE (BLACK DEMARCO)”. “Whiskey” is my personal favorite song from the album happy to see a visual representation of it.
