NEW ALBUM: Domo Genesis x Graymatter “SCRAM!”

Domo Genesis never misses when he drops an album, every single time it’s exactly the kind of laid-back, soul-drenched underground vibe I’m chasing.
SCRAM! (out November 7th, yeah I’m a week late, my fault) is the third full collab between Domo and producer Graymatter, coming after What You Don’t Get!? (2023) and the World Gone Mad EP (summer 2025). 32 minutes, 13 tracks, no filler.
This one feels like West Coast breeze mixed with warm jazz-soul samples: airy synths, sparse loops, soft piano chords, and meditative beats that just float. Graymatter stepped the production up from the mostly drumless stuff they’ve done before; still got that hazy, head-nod feel but now with a little more soul and pocket. Perfect backdrop for Domo to do what he does best: talk his shit in that half-tired, half-defiant monotone that somehow hits harder every year.
Themes all over this one are exhaustion, knowing your worth even when the tank’s on E, grinding without bragging, and just quiet resilience. Features from Evidence and 3waySlim slide in smooth, nothing forced.
If you slept on Domo after the Odd Future days, you’ve been missing one of the most consistent evolutions in rap. Dude went from weed-carrier punchlines to dropping some of the most introspective, beautifully produced underground albums out right now.
SCRAM! is another win. Put it on late at night, roll something, and let it play front to back. You won’t skip a track.
