The Dirty Timbs is a new Milwaukee-based hip-hop group featuring Damon Joy, who goes by the stage name Jank, and Burgie Streetz. The group is making waves in the local music scene with their old-school hip-hop sound. Their debut single, “Blue Mud,” released in September 2025, features contributions from Milwaukee’s DJ Bizzon and Los Angeles rapper Blu, marking a strong start for the project. Damon Joy, a longtime contributor to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, has been a key figure in the local hip-hop community, previously co-hosting the “Hip Hop Guys” radio show on 91.7 WMSE at MSOE with DJ Bizzon. The Dirty Timbs’ music emphasizes classic hip-hop vibes, and their collaboration with established artists like Blu highlights their potential to bridge.
