NEW ALBUM: LAH-KID “Dead Homie$ Telling STORIE$ For Me”

LAH-KID’s latest project, “Dead Homie$ Telling Stories for Me,” carries a unique title that caught my attention. When I spoke with him, he shared the inspiration behind the album’s name, which I only truly understood after listening to Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp a Butterfly” project. It turns out that during a conversation with Kendrick, Tupac mentioned the concept of departed loved ones speaking through the music. This concept resonated with LAH-KID, resulting in an album that consists of 10 captivating tracks. Notably, the album features collaborations with fellow Milwaukee natives such as Chevy Keyz, Gwapo Chapo, and Yo. Dot. LAH-KID’s project is a testament to the power of music in preserving the memories and stories of those who have passed on.
I’ve also added Lah-Kid’s appearance on ‘everyday podcast at the bottom.
